WELCOME TO ROOT CELLAR FOODS MARKET!
Root Cellar Foods is an online marketplace for locally grown and produced food. We make it possible for producers to work together to meet the growing demand for local, sustainable food in the Gallatin Valley. Producers benefit from the marketing, selling, packaging and delivering of their produce and prepared foods. We bring fresh, healthy, locally & regionally grown food to you in a cost-effective manner on a weekly basis. When we can't source from the Gallatin Valley we look to other farms from Montana and then our northwest distributor, Organically Grown Company, sourcing from Oregon and Washington (primarily) and then California and Mexico in winter.
Ordering from Root Cellar Foods Market helps us build and support our community, preserving our precious agricultural land for future use. And did you know that all of the produce offered through our site is either certified organic or grown with organic principles in mind? Check it out!

We've Got Reusable Bags!
We use reusable bags for packing our market orders each week but they aren't cheap so we count on customers returning them to us so we can clean them and reuse them.
PLEASE RETURN your bags each time you receive an order. Just leave them on your porch for our driver to grab or hand 'em over at your next pick up. It's that easy! (reusable bags are sanitized between each use). If you ordered and aren't ordering in the future, but have some of our bags, please contact us to arrange a pickup or drop off at our warehouse. sales@rootcellarfoods.com
Please note a service fee of 4% is applied to every order to help cover the costs of packaging and distribution.

Cool Earth Creamery's Glass Recycling Program
Rinse, Return, Repeat
At Cool Earth Creamery we spend as much time thinking about how to reduce waste and minimize our manufacturing footprint as we do on how to make great plant-based milks. Like our customers, Cool Earth Creamery is deeply concerned about the accumulation of plastics and other non-recyclables in the environment. And we want to do something about it by offering our products in 100% reusable glass containers. Aside from just looking and feeling cool, glass has an endless recycling life, it preserves the flavor of milk, and it reduces ingestion of packaging-derived chemicals. But we need your help and support to make our program work.
Please return your rinsed bottle & top to us with your bags each week so we can help with their sustainable mission!
