Root Cellar Foods is an online marketplace for locally grown and produced food. We make it possible for producers to work together to meet the growing demand for local, sustainable food in the Gallatin Valley. Producers benefit from the marketing, selling, packaging and delivering of their produce and prepared foods. We bring fresh, healthy, locally & regionally grown food to you in a cost-effective manner on a weekly basis. When we can't source from the Gallatin Valley we look to other farms from Montana and then our northwest distributor, Organically Grown Company, sourcing from Oregon and Washington (primarily) and then California and Mexico in winter.
Ordering from Root Cellar Foods Market helps us build and support our community, preserving our precious agricultural land for future use. And did you know that all of the produce offered through our site is either certified organic or grown with organic principles in mind? Check it out!

We've added 3 new Pick-up locations/Distribution Options on our market at various Bozeman Health locations:
1. Bozeman Health (Main)- Pickup Thursdays from 12-12:15pm
2. Bozeman Health (Belgrade)- Pickup Thursdays from 12-12:15pm
Delivery every Friday:
Manhattan, Churchill + Big Sky
3. Big Sky Medical Center- Pick-up Fridays from 11-11:30am

We've Got Reusable Bags!
As a new customer you’ll pay a risk-free one-time reusable bag fee of $5. If, after your first or second order you decide the Root Cellar Online Market isn't for you, you’ll get a full refund when your bags are returned. PLEASE RETURN your bags each time you receive an order. Just leave them on your porch for our driver to grab or hand 'em over at your next pick up. It's that easy! (reusable bags are sanitized between each use). Please note a service fee of 4% is applied to every order to help cover the costs of packaging and distribution.
